Thanks for that.
Your ad prompted me to check Amazon to see what those go for (141+tax), and I found a used one with parts missing for a pretty nice price (don't bother looking, I bought it and it's gone).

If this is still here on 10/28 I am definitely interested. I have to get Christmas gifts first though with this check and I am working a ton of OT so I should have it then. If not, no big deal.

Finally got mine from Amazon warehouse deals. UPS kept taking the drivers off the road for afternoon snow, so they delivered it Saturday while trying to catch up.

$100 shipped is about $40 under Amazon pricing, sounds like a good deal.
Mine looks well thought out and well made.
Curt wants you to cut a 4x5" triangle off the right side aero plastic tray, and possibly do the same to a heat shield over the muffler on the other side.

Aside from the shield trimming, installation is as straightforward as can be.
Thread 4 bolts through the frame with the included fish wires, raise the hitch onto the bolts, install 4 nuts and torque to 70ft-lb.
That part's a ten minute job. Curt says the whole job, including removing, trimming and reinstalling shields, will take a novice 45 minutes or 25 minutes for a pro with a hoist.

Funny thing, the manual says it weighs 27lb. Amazon said it weighed 43 with ball mount and a flimsy shipping box. My bathroom scales say the bare hitch weighs 32.2lb. I wonder if they redesigned and beefed it up after they wrote the instructions. The instructions do say that non towing loads like cargo baskets and bike racks require the use of stabilizing straps or the warranty is void, that's probably standard with 1 1/4" receivers, they don't take twisting loads as well as 2" hitches.
