Does such a thing exist? The craptastic GM offering is lacking in design. So the forward edge of the access flap for the oil filter does not have a fastener. So if the dealer monkey doing your 1st oil change does not secure it properly then it hangs down and snags. The dealer says its on me as I must have hit road debris, even though it was the evening after I got the car back from them. They want $250 for a whole new splash shield, piece of plastic, since the flap itself is not available separately.
Now I do live on a gravel drive, but otherwise its all interstate commuting. It's possible I hit something, but given the timing, not likely. Anyway after crawling under there I'd rather have something more robust anyway. I did have an aftermarket skid plate on my VW Golf since that oil pan sits so low. Anyone have any ideas. I plan to have the car for 300,000 or 10yrs so a little love upfront is OK.
I can't find anything for the Gen2 Cruze. This is Gen1 but only in the UK/EU: https://www.skid-plate.com/skid-plate-for-chevrolet-cruze-2008-2015
