It might be different in Canada but as of today the GMPP is no longer available as the new G.M. backed GMEPP is the official Service Contract of G.M. (no such thing as an Extended Warranty). The contract is prorated and runs concurrently with the factory coverage. Canceling for a prorated refund minus the $50 admin fee is an option on some of these policies provided you never used it, and it can transfer to the next owner minus an admin charge, a great selling point. I know when I was pummeled by a Semi Truck and lost my last car I contacted the Dealer who had sold me a policy and they returned most of my money minus a small charge!Hello. I was speaking with a friend who just bought a used 2014 GMC Sierra and got the GM extended warranty. I bought my 2012 Cruze new from a GM dealer and got the extended warranty also. My friend told me if he doesn't use the extended warranty, GM will cut him a check for the amount he spent, less the 150 dollar admin fee.
What do you guys know about this?
I am in Canada.
