I've got just over 15k on my car. I was an over the road truck driver all last year before my company found me a local position in april so I hardly put any miles on it last year. Being a natually aspirated 1.8, I doubt I'd be able to realistically get the 200+HP that the 1.4T can put out, but I'd settle for 170-185.
While cheap and easy to install, nitrous would probably not be a good idea since its my daily driver and the last thing I need is a melted engine. I could turbo it, but I'd have to find a bolt on kit or find a shop that does turbos since I have no garage and minimal tools. For now, ill mainly be doing simple mods such as a CAI, trifecta tune and a flowmaster exhaust. Most of this I can do in less than an hour.
What's up Cruze owner's.
I just purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze LT(Mosaic Black Metallic) for a commuter. I love this car so far. I told myself I was going to keep this vehicle stock. Yet, coming from many years of modding/building vehicles I think this will be a little harder than I thought...
I drive a lot for work (178 miles a day right now) so the 18mpg with the old Envoy was killing me. Looked at the cruze diesel a year ago but passed. This drive made it time.
Clean, loaded 2015 with 47.,000 miles. Nice little car and loving the mileage but was hoping for a little more. 1/2...
I'm the new guy.
I have a 2013 (Gen1) 1.8 w/ Manual
This car has been giving me fits. I hope to find some others that have some experience with some of the issues I am having.
Thanks in advance for the knowledge!
