You are using a term ' Locking kit ' that is not a automotive term related to cylinder head or gasket.

Please explain further.....maybe we can help......turn your 'Caps Lock' off.

Torque to yield bolts? Wonder why my Supra doesn't need these. 48 bucks for the bolts and head gasket at rockauto.com.

Don't you over head cam engines, have to remove the timing chain or belt first. Plus all this fuel injector and turbo stuff. Ha, on a Ford Model A, was about a five minute job.

Then is it really the head gasket? With an overheated aluminum head engine, the head could have a crack in it. This happen more than once. The coefficient of thermal expansion is seven time greater of the aluminum head than that cast iron block it sits on. Something has to give. But they claim it saves a couple of pounds in weight.
