Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum here. I have a black graphite 14 Cruze LT that is a WIP. I have never tuned a car or done any modifications to my previous vehicles but I have had this car for a year now and I would like a little more out of it. So far I have deleted the muffler and I have a K&N CAI. I have orders pending for a trubendz 2.5 straight pipe kit (stainless of course) and I've ordered a tune from BNR. I would like to delete the second cat and see just how loud it is. If its too much id consider a Dynomax VT or a Borla type S muffler. Got my windows tinted today(5%) and successfully smoked the taillights with VHT Nightshade. I have experience painting so it wasn't too tough and they came out great (in other words, the wife approved). I can try to get some pics uploaded but I'm too tired right now. Does anyone have experience with deleting the second cat on their Cruze or have an idea of how loud it is? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum! I have done a resonator delete and deleted the muffler and went straight pipe all the way on drivers side (with a CAI). I think it sounds just right, and with the parts you have on order might be just fine !! We need pics !!

Woah, deleted resonator, muffler, and the cat? I would think that to be pretty loud, even in a 1.4, do you have an audio video?

The turbo probably quiets it down a little, maybe close to just above the noise level a helicopter creates.

I haven't deleted the resonator or the second cat yet. I plan to but I think I'm gonna stick a Dynomax VT 17159 where the resonator sits. I want it quiet at low speeds so the cops around here don't hassle me. When I step on it with the VT it will open up though . What do you guys think?
