HID kit

I recently bought the HID conversion kit from ZZP. I purchased the 8000K headlights with kit and one headlight is already out. The kit has been installed less than a month. I was extremely careful to not touch the bulbs during the install. Anyone else have this issue? I want to make sure it's there is no other issues before I spend the cash on new bulbs.

Also, if I wanted to upgrade to a higher HID bulb can I do that without replacing the entire kit? Thanks!
