If you're going to install HIDs, retrofit the head lamp housing as well with housings designed for HIDs. Don't blind the rest of the drivers on the road.

Has anyone installed Hids into factory reflector using the Casper guard?i seen someone on YouTube make it out of 1/2? pipe. Looks like it might work,any advice would be appreciated

Do you have any pics or link of this device? It totally sounds like a makeshift way to limit light output and quality after "upgrading" to HID in a halogen non projector housing.
