Did you take it off your Cruze, Terry?Bump! No interest!? I remember around the time I got mine everyone wanted one! Lol!
Yes, I got the Sonic RS Wheel from a buddy who was demodding his Cruze. I liked the way the sonic wheel spokes were painted silver giving it a more stock look. I was going to paint the spokes on the Hot Wheels wheel silver but never got around to it.Did you take it off your Cruze, Terry?
Edit: If so, why?
Ahh I see. Had I looked at your build thread, I would have found this out! I will say, I do like the RS one you have on now!Yes, I got the Sonic RS Wheel from a buddy who was demodding his Cruze. I just went thru a little exercise on this, and it looks like no.I know it's an old thread, but if you see this, do you know if they cruze airbag will go into the camaro steering wheel?
yeah. I just found that out the hard way. I decided to try and make it work and it just is too different, so I will have to get another airbag and bracked. Luckily my aftermarket dasaita head unit has a LIN/CAN controller in it and I should be able to assign the buttons manually. They do register when i hook up my can-bus sniffer, so they work. Just gotta tell the deck to listen for those messages and not the others.I just went thru a little exercise on this, and it looks like no.
On www.gmpartsgiant.com , I looked up the black steering wheel air bag for a 2017 Cruze, and found p/n: 39090515 . Then I looked up a black one for a 2017 Camaro, and got a different p/n (84146850), and a decidedly different looking air bag.
So I'd say they are not interchangeable. But I encourage to poke around some yourself, in case I missed something.
