i am hot 100% sure on how to mix my own water/meth.
i know i need distilled water...no problem
and methanol from the hardware store...but what than...just dump half of the meth into another container and than add half the water??
looking for 49% meth and 51% water

Thats imo a bad idea, just use the Windshield washer fluid Brian from VT use ftw.

U can buy it in cases and its cheap.

no its not a good idea...the mix vary s to much. one bottle was at 26% one was 28% and one was 31% and the last one was 16%. the longer it sits on the shelf the more the methanol evaporates out of the plastic jug.

Anything between %25-%50 meth keeps the engine happy. If i go mostly water it will start to pull timing.
I been lazy and just been dumping the meth and water into the take separately. It seams to dilute itself quite effectively.
I mix it properly 50-50 in the methanol jugs when i travel. Also i find a funnel helps.

I have a question hopefully its not stupid. Is there a gauge you can install yo let you know the mixture of methanol to water.

No there is not an off the shelf sensor. But it technically is possible.

They have ethanol/gas content gauges.

I think om going to just do a low warning light, use a windshield washer resivor sensor.
