I've finally accidentally let my '14 Diesel get interrupted during regen cycles enough to need a forced regen. I drove about 25 miles with the light on; and noted 41 grams of soot mass on my ScanGuageII. I am bringing it to my local mechanic who has a Snap On Zeus to do a regen on it tomorrow morning. This is the first time in 80k miles of ownership that this has ever happened to me, I am usually aware of when it is in a regen. My question is for those of you that have had to deal with this, is it fine? Should I have it towed to my friend's shop or is it ok to drive the 3 miles or so?
