I relocated my fuel filter to the engine compartment on the fire wall . I can now do top side fuel filter change as it is on VW TDI's .

I just got this message . To answer a few quick questions. yes I relocated it to the engine compartment using a ALH MK4 TDI fuel filter . Not being rude or harsh here . Yes it can be done at the same time this mod WILL void your warranty as Chevy Dealer already pointed it out to me. When I have a chance as I have been very busy with my personal life and will try to post a few picture and information on how to .Also I am in the process of selling my Cruze Diesel as well.
