Go back to COMG- The Cruze Owner's Maintenance Guide

Here is the link of there instructions which are all pictures.
http://www.mathijssentechnics.nl/170032.pdf

Parts you will need:

Drill with 1/4 drill bit
Pliers
3/8" ratchet with 10mm & 13mm sockets
Pry Bar
Small flat head screw driver
6" and 12" 3/8" extension
Hammer

Step 1:
Remove battery and battery box. Watch out there are a lot of little things to remove with screw driver. Also remove computer and set it out of the way. NOTE: I found multiple grounds loose so check surrounding grounds.

Step 2:
Use pliers and pry ball joints from shifter. Be careful and watch were your pieces go.

Step 3:
Take drill and drill threw the silver circle plug on top. Take pliers and pull out. Lol that's what it told me on the internet. This took me a little bit and was the most frustrating part of the entire process.

Step 4:
Take 13mm socket with extension and remove bolt. Take pliers and remove nut.

Step 5: on the left side of the shifer you see this tab holding this shaft threw a hole remove that and remove shaft out of the way.

Step 6:
Take 12" extension and hammer and tap on the bolt that the shifter is attached. Then pry up on the bottom of shifter.

Step 7:
There is a special slot on the new and old shifter look and see, the exact same raise on the splined shaft sticking up from transmission align two and push down. Replace nut you remove earlier but don't tighten yet. Attache ball joints back to shifter. Then tighten nut.

Step 8:
Replace battery box and all components you took off then enjoy i can feel a difference since I have driven it further.

will edit with pictures after camera is charged lol dead. but i feel the shorter throw. not much but it did shorten it.

did you start having your transmission issues after your install? No offense, but I woud have waited until I got the tranny fixed before installing new parts.
