Ok so i noticed i didnt see a thread on how to shift into N when the car dead.

Step1: locate the manual gear overide.

Then place your key or flat object into the groove.

Remove the cap:

You'll notice a white plug insert a pointed object like a pen or your key.

Hold it down and shift to whatever.

Thisis good if your park forward and need to push the car out to get boosted or towed.

Only reason i put this up, was because i was out and this ladies battery completely died. Her car wouldnt even shift. So we tried everything to see how to move her car so i can boost it.( turns out jumping the curb, making a u-turn between the tree and parking pay thing was the best way) then boosted her car to only notice that the key had to be inserted to manually switch the gear.) and from there i did it to mind and waala! A thread was born. People may think its useless now. But one day youll search google or bing and find my thread and write: thanks helped me out alot: and give a story! Hahaha

its the same way for the 1.4T cruzes, its not useless, i knew it was there, but enver knew how it would work, never ahd to worry about it. so thank you. even if people know how to do it, its still great to have an archive of How-To things on these cars.
