Infotainment Console: Text Scrolling

I own a 2012 Chevy Cruze with the regular Infotainment option - not the souped up color GPS option.

There is an option for Radio > RDS Text Scroll. So that if I encounter a radio station that supports RDS Text, it scrolls right to left telling me the artist/son information.

If I were to connect my iPhone or use the CD player that has a long name it appears something like "This is the song name examp..." and never scrolls.

Does anybody know if there's an option to enable scrolling outside of RDS text?

Can't find anything in the manual, online, or looking at the options in the car myself. I hope I'm seriously overlooking this option.
