Has anyone attempted to install the eco lower shutter on thier car? i am instreted in doing this to help with fuel. but if it becomes more complicated then i will bailing on the idea.

The shutter is controlled by one of the cars computers, so if you were able to get all the parts you would need to find a way to manually operate it.

Also if your car has the RS package the lower grill opening is a different shape(flipped upside down from the normal cars) so it may not work then either.

no i have an LT non RS package. i was kind of hoping you were going to say the manual operation. i will get photos, but my towers already have corrosion on them from salt getting into my engine

apparently the motors for the shutter is not just open and close it has the ablity to be 0-100% open or closed. so a twist dial would work perfectly
