Whats the extra pipe that leads in the bottom of the stock airbox? Crank case breather? I installed an AEM intake and now the extra tube is just dangling there...

It's the "snorkel" of sorts. It leads into a spot behind the bumper to bring air in.

If it was anything like my old 2009 Chevy Cobalt LS, Its a tube for secondary air injection. My Cobalt was California emissions, so it had the secondary air injection and the fuel filter was in the tank. Only difference between all the other Cobalts to my knowledge. It's for emissions. I tried putting a GMPP intake on it and I had to put a breather filter on the secondary tube and it still throw a code so I just put a K and N drop in filter and called it good. Hope this helps :)
