Interior LEDs

Not sure how many of you are (or aren't) into interior lighting but I thought I'd share this with everyone. Just installed these today. They're from LEDglow.com. Quick and simple to install and I love the way they look. I had a red set installed in my last car that I was going to put in the Cruze but I thought blue looked better with a silver car than red.:)

If anyone needs info on how I installed them, feel free to ask!

Nice! What model Cruze is this? I have the LS and it does NOT have the floor lights. Did you just replace the bulbs?
Looks great! Blue is the right choice IMHO. Where did you wire them into? I am looking to tap into the light circuit so lights will come on with the headlights.

Thanks! It's the LS. These lights didn't come with the car. I installed them. It's a kit. www.ledglow.com. It's the four piece blue. I think they were 30 bucks.

Thanks! I used an add-a-fuse on the power wire and connected it directly to one of the spare fuse slots on the fuse block. Then just grounded it to a bolt under the dash. I want to wire it into a switched power source as well so that when I start the car they come on and when I shut it off, so do they.

i did mine in red because i have the black/red interior.

Looks great! I also want to do the same thing you did to your cup holders. I don't want to go crazy with the lighting but I will be adding a bit more. How did you do your trunk badge? I would love to do that in blue as well.

Awesome, thanks for the tip! That's the badge I was thinking about buying. How long did it take to arrive?

I am ordering the 7 color kit from LEDglow.com Tuesday when i get paid, idk how long it will take to get here but i will post videos.

Were did you mount them?
I had been wanting to put some LEDs in the interior of the car as well. I know alot of people don't like them, but I wanted them just for show and stuff. By no means do I want it to look like a cheap job either. We had some strips with 3 blue LEDS on each. We used 3 strands for each portion of the car - Driver, Passenger and both rear. We ran the wire setup using an add-a-circuit and its currently sitting on #6 in the fusebox to automatically turn on, but most likely will swap it to #2 as we also added in a switch to turn them off and on and the #6 fuse runs 20AMP and could only get a 10AMP add-a-circuit. I did not mount the switch, as its a 3/4'' hole and did not feel like tearing into the dash. It sits in the little cubby hole in the fuse panel, real easy to access and secure too. We had spare wiring and used crimps on all the connections. Ran everything extremely clean, can't see any wiring unless your underneath the dash or seats. Connections are all secured so no worries of loose wiring. I used velcro for the back seat strips and dbl sided 3M for the driver side/dash. Looks real nice. Heres some pics... For $12 in parts, looks awesome. Sorry fo rhte picture quality in advance, its a crappy cheap camera. I took a pic of my setup too, I have the slipgrip mount for my EVO with Torque mounted up.

So far, I have de-badged the car.. Carbon Fiber Overlays for the front/rear & steering wheel emblems, the LED install, 30% front/15% rear tint, OEM Foglights, K&N Intake.. I want to add the Shark Fin up top to get rid of the little radio antenna.. An probably a new audio setup in the future. I ripped out my system from my Altima when I traded it in, but its older and I'd want all new equipment.

Here is how the wiring sits in the fuse panel.. I left plenty of wire in case I decided to mount the fuse in the future.

How did you get the bow tie on your steering wheel black
Anyone probed around the fuseblock yet and found the circuit number that is switched with the interior lighting/doors? I have my led's already but have not dug into it yet. I was looking to have mine operate with the doors and other corresponding interior illumination. THX!

" Carbon Fiber Overlays for the front/rear & steering wheel emblems"

You could also plastidip for just black and non steady hands.

They look blinding. Are they more subtle in person?

Same as the normal emblems. Just a viynl overlay. You can plasti dip it as suggested, but I like the Carbon Fiber look better. I have it on my emblems and B pillars

They are much more subtle in person. Theres only 9 leds per set. The camera makes them look obnoxious.

If anyone looks at your pictures, they'll also see that it's night outside, but the ground is lit up like it's daytime. Over-exposure on the camera makes those LEDs look much, much too bright.

I installed mine a couple of weeks ago and they are perfect as far as light output for the trunk, center, and map lights.
