I have a question, when you connect your iphone to the usb port in the center console and listen to music and have the navigation app running does the navigation sounds go over the speakers or the phones speakers??
I just traded my iphone in or I would check myself.

Or have you done the bluetooth audio streaming upgrade and if you did does those sounds come over the speakers or your phone? Also does your steering wheel controls changes the tracks when connected to bluetooth?

Thank you

Navigation from Google Maps app comes through speakers when connected to USB. At least it does on iPhone 5. Not sure on bluetooth as it depends on how you have it paired. Personally, I have my bluetooth paired as a phone and use the USB for music (spotify/pandora/etc.).

OK that works, I'm thinking about an iPad mini mounted in my car. Our radios already can interface with iPhone / iPad file structure

I have a 5 and I used it last night via Blutooth while running Google Maps. I don't mind the voice over the car speakers but I hate how the audio is transferred to the car using a 'phone call' and the Cruze's 'call ended' plays after each voice instruction. I wish the stereo volume could be minimized during each voice guidance instead of completely pausing it.

Yeah I think it would be easier to mount it in portrait mode
