My dealer investigated a fix motor warning and found it to be due to the Active Grille Air Shutter Activator. The Bid to fix is almost $1000. Is this something worth fixing? Most of my driving is local and low speed. The car works perfectly save for the fix motor warning.

Id try to find the part (it may be discontinued), jack the car up, remove the lower fascias and replace it myself.

It's not (we just got a new one installed after "the tree"), but it ain't cheap.
