I have a new Cruze and want to keep the rims looking new as long as possible, with that said i want to remove the lead weight from the front of the rim. I live in Minnesota and the salt up here corrodes everything. GM wheels seem to do it worse then others. I called a tire dealer and they quoted me $60 to take the lead weights off the front and put sticky weights on the inside of the rim but also said it won't balance correctly cause its made to be put on the outside of the rim.

What are my other options, i was wondering if anyone has tried the balancing beads that you put inside of the tires?

Thanks Kevin

Well WTH, wonder why mine are on the outside? I see both of you have RS package. you must have different rims then.

For me a dealer is only for warranty problems.

That was at a local tire shop.
