I just bought this 2015 Chevy Cruze LT 1.4L Turbo. I am having a problem when I first take off after the car has been parked overnight. It has a slight miss maybe once maybe twice then it’s fine. Have replaced plugs with acdelco iridium. Need to know what to do next. Car has 96000 miles.

I’ve been chasing this for months. Mine does the same thing. It lurches a few times around 20mph under light throttle only when cold. Replaced plugs and coil pack, regapped plugs. Thinking maybe fuel injector related, not sure anymore.

Yes just once or twice and then it’s fine. I literally just bought didn’t notice anything wrong in test drive. I’m thinking injector or timing issue.

Does it kind of lunge forward then putter a bit? Mine makes a weird sucking sound through the the intake that I can hear for half a second or so. Oh, I also replaced both camshaft position sensors. No change.

Mine is just a very noticeable miss like really noticeable but it’s just once and then no other problem. Got me baffled.

It’s worth mentioning mine doesn’t show up as anything in the logs, I have went over them and even sent them to BNR to analyze. Maybe its transmission related?

Also it has been like rocking back and forth at red lights when stopped.

Also might try an ECM re-set.
Just pull your fuse and re-insert it or disconnect your battery for ten minutes.
Another shot-in-the-dark.
Possible throttle position sensor hiccup.

Dude, mine did that when I first got it! Changed tranny fluid and just realized it hasn’t done it since. Felt like it would constantly slip and engage. So odd how you’re describing everything I’ve noticed In the past.

Your vehicle has 96k miles on it. Sparkplugs are only good for 100k, and even that is a far stretch. Do the easy thing, change the plugs now. Put AC Delco Iridium OEM's in it. Most likely will fix your issue.

You probably missed it but OP says in first post that he already changed plugs with Iridiums.
Looking for other possible solutions.
We're all trying to help.
Thanks for any input !!

OP,

What you describe sounds to me like the ABS self check. It occurs the first time you reach 20 KPH after starting the car and feels and sounds like the transmission is grinding. I can also see how this would be described as a misfire. It's noticeable in all weather conditions, but is much more noticeable when it's cold outside.
