Hi, so I have a 2014 Cruze RS that I'm seeming to have an issue getting right. The old turbo gave me loss off boost symptoms which inspected showed a cracked wastegate and turbine damage. So I replaced the turbo and put everything back together to now get a glowing red turbo, loss of boost after a period of driving and misfire. I hear that the catalytic converter can cause this issue or oil build up in tube but tube was cleaned out and I saw no issues in catalytic converter when turbo was off nor did I have cat issues with old turbo on. What do I need to do next?

Any check engine light? Misfires can cause unburnt fuel to blow out of the cylinder and burn in the exhaust making the turbo glow red and also can damage the catalytic converter fairly quickly if its a bad enough misfire.
