My friend was using her Cruze diesel as her commuting car, 2014 diesel.
Regular maintenance, just recently did front brakes, rear brakes needing attention now.

She retired recently, getting a New Beetle convertible for weekend car.
Still has her 2012 Toyota Venza with low mileage.

Cruze is being sold today, driven 281,000 km on highway and still running strong.
Krown oil sprayed yearly, no rust or rot.
No blowby or smoke.

Has been a great car!

This thread looks like the only Gen1 post about mileage. The Gen2 group has lots of posts with mileage reports and we should step up.

We bought our 2014 diesel Cruze with 243K miles a few months ago and are already close to 280K miles (Thats 450K KMs). Drivetrain is original so far but we'd replace anything keeping us from clocking 400K eventually, even major stuff.

Anyone over 300K miles yet? Thats 482K kilometers.

Ours only needed to be replaced because the oil filter gutter fell right onto the boot.
