Lower MPG after Recall for Oil Leakage Issue?

Has anyone noticed a drop in MPG since having the recall performed? I am not 100% sure what they did to correct but it looks like they may have removed some of the aero dynamics under the engine?

No change for my ECO MT.
Yes GM thought it was a great way to save money instead of redesigning a cheap plastic part and keeping more customers happy and the cars virtually the same to just cut 3/4 of the lower engine shield off.

I saw my MPG go up slightly since the recall was done, however at higher speeds the car feels looser and more wind blown. If one drives mostly highway at highspeeds I could easily see this cause a drop in MPG. Seen an article after the recall first came out that GM was going to run higher PSI in the 2013 tires to compensate for the MPG loss.

I noticed the lower front lip spoiler that in 2011-2012 was only installed on LS and LT cars without the RS package now comes on the RS package. Have to wonder if this is to compensate for the wandering behavior I now have at highway speed(feels like I am driving a van with air under front end). There was a poll after the recall and only half the people notice a difference. I suspect it might be the RS package cars.

Thought about adding one to my 2012 1LT RS or even the larger eco lip, but its around $100 and have noticed a few cruze in my area with this piece damaged already(car already sits low). http://image.motortrend.com/f/roadt...22/2012-Chevrolet-Cruze-Eco-front-profile.jpg

I drove without my untouched shield in place for 4 days after my deer strike, and I'll agree, the front end felt like it was floating a bit more. That feeling went away after the shield was re-installed. Tires were at 44 PSI the whole time. I couldn't notice a MPG loss without the shield.
Haven't noticed a difference.
