I have a 2012 (auto) Cruze Ls which is my daily driver it has about 82,000 miles mostly all highway miles. I always have car serviced according to the owners manual, when I take the car in to the dealership they always tell me I need to have the transmission fluid changed according to the manual I don't need it until 97,000 mi. Should I wait until then or get it changed now? Thanks

You should actually have changed it at 45,000 miles. Download the 2014 owners manual and use the severe service schedule in there. There are a lot of items that GM left out of our 2012 manual.

My driving definitely doesn't fall under the severe driving schedule. Mine is all highway miles I go by the normal driving schedule

In that case download the 2014 manual and use the "normal" driving schedule in there.

My driving is all highway miles which does not fall under the severe driving schedule, I go by the normal driving schedule for service.
