[FONT=&quot]The video below shows the [/FONT][FONT=&quot]working 3D-printed model of a LS3 V8 engine from a [/FONT]Chevrolet Camaro[FONT=&quot] being assembled like a real engine, and "running" on an engine stand. With the exception of the bearings and fasteners, all parts were 3D-printed.[/FONT]

That's nice - but why on earth didn't he make it a full size model and not a small toy one?

Probably much cheaper doing it that way. Of course, if he has a 3D printer, all the materials, and knowledge, I guess that's a valid question.

I bet if he'd wind that sucked up to 6k RPMs it'd sound pretty close.
