Are you getting stabilitrak issues? If so its a big grounding issue.

If not errr most likely someone replaced the MAF sensor in the past and somehow screwed up the connector. Unfortunately I see crap like this alot and you're kind of just boned. You eitheir replace the harness orrrrrr find a donor harness to end to end solder.

No stabilitrak issue, I'm hoping I just have a chafed wire that runs to my MAP sensor, I'll buy the tool to remove the pins from the plugs so I can run a brand new wire, so long as I can avoid pulling the motor for a whole new wiring harness. I'm just hoping it's that simple.

It is my MAP data that is disappearing, did you mean to say MAF for a messed up connector, cause if so I'll definitely check those wires as well. And me being boned is pretty much what the auto shop told me 😂 that's what I get for going to a sketchy used car lot.
Same idea for eitheir.

The MAP is an analog sensor which the ECM interprets.
The MAF is a digital sensor which gives digital data…. Which the ECM interprets.

That’s the only difference between the two in terms of wiring.
