I think I made a mistake lol, if anyone had this issue or thinks they know what might fix this please help.
I bought a 2014 chevy cruze a month ago from a used car lot. Engine seemed fine, no check engine lights, etc. 3 days later CEL came on, there were 5 codes stored to do with MAP, MAF, engine lean, Evap purge valve.
I replaced the evap valve, valve cover, ignition coil/spark plugs, MAP and MAF sensors, air filter.
After still not fixing the codes I took it to an auto shop, the said the MAP data was dropping sporadically from the computer they had hooked up, and that it's a needle in a hay stack, they bowed out of the project.
My next steps are that I'm going to clean up all of my grounds, and then test the 3 wires on the MAP sensor to see if one is bad in the wiring harness. After that I'll be at a loss, other than replacing the PCM/ECU. Really not trying to replace my whole wiring harness, so if it is one of the individual wires, I'll be running a separate wire in chafe guard along the wiring harness.
Has anyone seem or heard of an issue like this?
