Here on CruzeTalk, we recognize those who are worthy of honor and recognition. The highest of those is the Veterans who have served in their country's military. To demonstrate our appreciation and respect for those who have sacrificed much and served their country, please post in this thread with the following information so that we can show our appreciation and thank you for your service:
- The branch of military in which you served
- Your military rank
- The number of years you served
To show our recognition and appreciation, you will be given a Veteran badge below your name. This is just our little way of saying thank you.
I spent 4 yrs at what was then Ft Lewis with the 249th EN BN (PP) with many friends in the 864th and triple nickel.Branch: Army
Rank: Sham Shield!(Specialist/E-4)
Years Served: 8 years from 2013-2021
Did my first four years active duty as a 94E, Radio Repairer. Went to relaxin' Jackson for BootCamp, Ft. Gordon for AIT, and then got stationed in Joint-Base Lewis McChord in the 864th Engineer BN, 555th Engineer BDE. Decided to transition out to the California Army National Guard in 2017, and glad I did. Served with them until this last September after doing some cool stuff. I was deployed to help with the Carr fire in 2018, went on a humanitarian mission to Guatemala, and even deployed around the LA county area during the George Floyd protests, to protect property.
