hey,

after completing a stage 1 tune on my 2013 cruze 1.6 turbo, i have realised that i want my car to make so more noise. Exhaust fitting companies have advised me that the best way to get a throaty sound with the crackle and pop, is to 'do the resonator'. whether it mean removing the resonator or simply removing the muffler and only keeping the resonator im not too sure, i just wanted to see if anyone has done the same thing to their cruze? or if anyone has done it differently?

Chop off the muffler.

Have an exhaust shop replace your muffler with straight pipe, or do it yourself if you have the means.

Read some of the posts! There is a search engine dialog box on the upper right side. Type in resonator delete or exhaust mods or something similar. Hundreds of posts.
