I was back up north last weekend to celebrate Father's Day, and on my way home I cut through Lancaster/Palmdale and decided to take one of my favorite mountain roads. The road branches off the 138 by I-5 and is called Old Ridge Road, which is a nice steep incline up the mountain, and then from there you take Pine Canyon Road to Lake Elizabeth Road which takes you through the mountain along a lovely road, right through Leona Valley where my Uncle lives, and eventually turns into the 138 after the 14.
Anyways, I grabbed some shots while on the incline, so here ya go!:
A Little Further up the incline:
mmmm, booty:
Its a very nice road, the road is old and worn, but no cracks, and out of 10-15 separate times of driving this road I've only ever encountered 1 other car, and a majority of the corners aren't blind, so you can see ahead to really dip in and have fun in the corners. Anyways, as promised in the title, 3 wheelin pics! I was leaving my dad's house and randomly looked in my side view mirror to see my rear tire tucking hard, so I hopped out and by golly, I was 3 wheeling.
Le 3 wheel:
Holy Tuck Batman!:
