Ok so last fill-up i was at the servo and saw 98RON (Australia), it was 10c more a liter so i thought why not, to be money saving i figured out i needed an extra 63Km from the tank.

It not only reached this but blew it away and almost did 150Km (750Km) more on the tank, i was actually harder on the engine this week due to installing the K&N intake and enjoying the BoV and spool noise.

I also reset my L/100Km meter in the car and this has averaged out at 7.9L/100Km down from 9.5L/100Km on 91RON.

Work that extra $6-$10 :)

So that's like going from 86 octane in the US to 94 octane, i believe?

That's going to make a nice difference, as you found out. You should test 95RON, if your results are similar to mine you'll keep most of the benefit if 98 at lower cost.
