would it be worth it on a completely stock 1.4 auto?

From what I've read it is worth it, not knowing from experience, but from all the reading and youtube videos I've watched. Im out of the country for a few months and besides seeing my girlfriend again this is the next thing I plan on doing after I arrive back to base.
