Is anyone planning on attending the Detroit auto show next month?

Also known as the North American International Auto Show it happens every January.

I've never gone before but been thinking about going this year. Anyone else?

I haven't gone in about 7 or 8 years, but this year I'm probably going to go! Right after that one there's one at the Seagate Center in downtown Toledo that I will go to at the end of Jan. Info below.

Probably going this year. Usually go every 2-3 years. My advice is go early as possible. Get there before the crowds, get there when they open so you have time. It takes couple hours to walk it.

Absolutely - we always get there before they open. They're pretty good about opening doors relatively on time.

I always enjoy reading the commentary and seeing new releases and everything. Take pictures!

I'll go to the Washington DC one again this year, but it's nowhere near as exciting.

We had a meet at the last one. It was a private invite from GM media dept. at HQ in the REN-CEN. Actually just a tour of the social media dept but some of us then went to the show at COBO. Maybe one of the reps from GM will chime in here and offer another tour. Anyhow Id be in for a meet.

i am still trying to get my work schedule nailed down so I know when I can go. It will likely be first thing in the morning on one of the last 2 days.

I wouldn't recommend going any time after that anyway. Get there before it opens, and be out by lunch, before the giant crowds hit.
