Our 2012 chevy cruz manual keeps cutting out, radio, lights and then we came out from shopping and it had no power at all. My husband moved around on the battery and power came back but every time you hit a small bump in the road it knocks out the lights and radio..... Is this the negative battery cable???? How do we get this fixed under warranty since our vehicle only has 78,xxx miles on it.

This sounds like a bad ground, bad negative cable, or just a bad connection from one of the terminals contacting the battery.
The OEM updated negative cable is $15 from Amazon. Not worth your time taking it to a dealer for the extended warranty on the negative cable.
