To clarify: there is no fee for updates. What Alan mentioned is if you buy Advantage tier, which is meant for stock vehicles, and then you want to get support for mods, you'd be asked to upgrade to Elite. So, that shouldn't be described as a fee, but rather, an upgrade to the full support tier

If you go with Elite from the get go, then there are no fees in any way or form for updates, datalogging, revisions, etc. Still comes in cheaper than the other options out there.
