Hi y'all! My husband surprised me with a new car for Xmas!!! Traded in a 2005 convertible mustang so quite a difference. I'm 6ft tall so was surprised how comfy the Cruze is. Looked at the 2017 Malibu too but the Cruze just felt right and love the gas milage. Got a great year end deal on it. Was surprised my car insurance rate stayed the same. Love the sunroof, first time having one. Didn't like the hatchback as legroom seemed shorter and didn't want a SUV looking car. The cargo area was awesome in it though. I told hubby if we ever get a new car I wanted a smaller gas saver and the Cruze is perfect. He has driven it more than me as I got the flu the very next day after bringing it home. He said that car gets as good if not better gas milage than his freewheeler Harley trike! I love I can see better out the cruzes drivers seat than in the mustang. It's taking a little getting used to not seeing the front hood at all when parking!

Love that color! Glad you are happy and welcome!
We're twins.

My only drawback about the car so far. Is having the battery in the trunk. We all like to store sheet back there. NO ONE wants to clean it out whenever we need access to the battery,.

You don't even need access to the battery to jump start the car. How often are you finding you need to get to it? And what are you storing back there that's so hard to take out and put back. I think I'll go years before I need to get to it and then only to replace it.
I'm taken aback by this complaint.

What am i storing back there????? What does anybody store back there. I store things just like anyone else. And it's just not my battery i may need to get to. How about everyone else that needs a jump from time to time. Those 2 terminals. Aren't very worthy of immediate jump starts.

After being sick for 4 weeks right after getting the Cruze, I finally got to drive it and get used to it. I love it! It holds more groceries than my mustang did and that's with not putting the back seats down! The stop\start is so smooth I don't notice it until the car goes silent. I think I have most of the features and buttons figured out with hubby's help as it was quite a jump in tech compared to my 2005 mustang. Hubby keeps asking if I want a a personalized liscence plate but I can't come up with something Cruze related other than Tom crz 6 spaces with 3 space 3 on our plates. Any suggestions?
