If anyone could provide any insight that would be awesome. 2012 chevy cruze 1.4 LT with 120,000(highway miles mostly) ! Ive obviously reached the point where my car needs a little more TLC. The car is routinely taken car of! Recently noticed the digital coolant gauge reaching high temps and decided to change it! It was changed with a AC delco part. After taking car for multiple drives throughout the day still noticed the higher temps? The highest it has reached was 230F than temp comes down. Usually 226F it would start to drop. It does not go to 230 everytime but enough to make me question what is going on esp with a new thermostat. Has anyone else had this problem before? Could it be something other than thermostat? Is it normal(ish)? Also, cooling fan kicks on, no leaks any where!
