The manual says to avoid full throttle or high RPM for the first 500 miles. Also avoid long times at the same RPM (e.g. setting the cruise control for a long highway trip).
After that, open 'er up.
I did my first oil change @ 3000 miles.
We generally recommend running 91-93 octane in these cars. The little turbo motors are just happier.
