I have a 2012 Chevy Cruze and am experiencing intermittent AC issues. Normally AC blows hard and cold. Every now and then it'll begin to blow hot and a -40° symbol appears on my radio display in the top right corner. It'll last a few hours to a day and then returns back to normal. I'm thinking it's the Evaporatore Core Temperature Sensor but wanted to check with my fellow Cruze owners.

Welcome Sounds like as you mentioned but I don't know of the actual name of the temp control sensor. Sounds more like a BCM issue. I would do a Google search on temp control for Chevy Cruze. This problem sounds familiar, search our sight (using FAQ)I believe this issue was addressed.

The temperature sensor in your lower left bumper filler panel has an intermittent connection to its wiring harness.
