Welcome! How many miles? Powertrain is 5yrs/100,000 miles whichever comes first. That's simply engine and transmission related components excluding hoses and belts.

Also there's special coverage on the waterpump I believe for 10 yrs/150,000 miles.

Has 31k miles. My car has an oil leak and basically I went to the dealer and they tell me it’s not covered because gm had changed there warranty wording and the oil cooler housing isn’t covered under5yr/100k miles Powertrain warranty it’s under the 3yr/36k bumper to bumper.
they told me it would be $1200 to fix $40 worth of gaskets.

Time to find another dealer.

I just had my ‘14 Cruze Diesel trans replaced free for an oil leak at 77k miles under 100K Powertrain Warranty.

Welcome and good luck.

Yea I went ahead and started tearing it apart myself I’m not paying to fix something I can do at home! Just figured if the warranty would cover let them take care of it but nope!

If oil runs through it and it's not a hose it's covered under the power train warranty. Find another dealership.

Welcome and that would surely be covered under warranty.
