Hi all!
Not my very first post, but darned near.
Been in forums since the early days, back when they called them 'bbs'. That was the days of Prodigy, then CompuServe, then that newfangled thing called AOL (that I couldn't STAND). Was a Sysop (they call them Moderators now) on a couple forums over on CompuServe for years.
New Cruze hatch just showed up around here lately.
We've been big car folks for decades. My wife started driving a SUV before we ever though of having kids (our oldest is 28), and up until last year she drove big. She started driving a little Nissan after her dad passed last year and decided (for a work vehicle) that getting 30 mpg isn't all that bad. So we sold her dads car and got her Lil' Blue.
Of course we still have the big stuff, a 16 Silverado 4x4 crew cab that's loaded, I mean REALLY LOADED LTZ (with 22" chrome oem rims) that she bought me last year. Said I needed a 4 wheel drive to pull that bass boat I've been wanting. GOOD WOMAN THAT ONE! :bowing:Then there's the 06 G35 6MT I keep in the garage for special occasions (it has 35k on it). And when I'm feeling old... there's a 1930 Model A sitting around. LOL
Movie, TV, Music, and car guy best describes me. Retired, but enjoy high end detailing. Not the kind that your local dealership does when they have a sign up that says "Full Deluxe Detail for $95" because my was jobs start at $65. I actually get referrals FROM dealerships and body shops. Not the same thing as they do, not at all.... nope... my detailing jobs take from a day to a week. Breaking out a buffer (which isn't a rotary by the way, except for my small one that has 1", 2" & 3" pads) means I'm spending 2 to 7 days on the car. Life is too short to have swirled paint.
Anywho.... might check out a couple photos I put up over on the "Saw my first Cruze hatch today" thread. (Can't put the link yet, still a newbie.)
