New TD manual owner from Ontario Canada.

Just picked up my silver TD manual and absolutely love it, it's almost too quiet they were not kidding when they called this engine "whisper diesel". I do find that first gear is way too short but overall its a nice car almost as good as a Tdi.

Does anyone know how often you have to drain the fuel filter? Manual says 48k km (30k miles) but I'm just wondering if is better to do it more often. I'm? planning on switching the rims for the 18" from the first gen Cruze RS (can get them cheap). Will it fit without rubbing? Is the hole pattern the same?
