New to 2012 Cruze
My 2012 Cruze has a Navigation System, not sure if it is aftermarket or not, did the 2012 come with a backup camera? When I reverse, an image comes up saying loading image, like it is looking for a camera ...

Welcome! Does the Nav system say "MyLink" on the screen when you turn the car on? If so, it's factory.
You might check and see if you have the camera. Apparently some MyLink systems were sold without the camera.
Take a look at your trunk. The button to open the trunk is right of center. Left is center is where the camera would be.
