Hi All.

I had an older 2005.5 TDI Jetta stick, loved it.

I recently took a new position that is 70 miles each way.
I was researching 2015 TDI and stumbled across the Cruze Diesel...so here I am.

Welcome.

CTDs seem to come in two flavors, new ones that are hard to find and used ones that have much higher resale value than the gassers.

I thought I wanted a 2015 Diesel, but ended up with 2nd generation gasser because I couldn't justify the cost premium of the diesel with my 12k miles a year.

But with an incredible commute like yours, I'd be looking for a 2017-2018 CTD with stick shift.

Welcome.

The transition from my 09 TDI to the 14 Cruze diesel was easy. Actually liking the Cruze better. Bigger fuel tank, about 10% better fuel economy, smoother ride with the 17” wheels.
