I found removing the shifter completely makes taking it apart much easier. To remove the shifter, just simply twist slightly and pull up. It will pop right off in your hands and you can then take it apart with easy.

I think im going to dip the cruze this color.

White base 3 coats (improve color brightness and prevents color stain)
Florescent fire belly orange 4 base coats
3 coats satin clear with team orange pearl (satin clear has UV protection which should keep the florescent orange from fading)
2 coats of dyc top coat (which will give the car that painted look and shine)

So my Cruze did something very strange the other night. I went out to start it and the headlights wouldn't turn on, a power steering error message/anti brake message/traction control message/stability control message came on, and the car would let you turn the steering wheel. I tried turning it off and turning it back on, unlocking it and re locking it, and messing with the alarm. After 30 mins of trouble shooting I plugged in my obd2 sensor and ran a diagnostics on it and it showed a network error and a stability control error. For some reason the car was disabled and wouldn't works correctly. I ended up discounting the negative terminal on the battery for 30 mins. When I reconnected it everything seemed to work fine and I haven't had an issue since then.

My my question is could my tune from trifecta have caused this issue?

Have you had the battery cable checked by your dealer? Idk if that would have anything to do with it. I know several people (including myself) have had theirs replaced.

Also, just some friendly advice - you should start a build thread in the appropriate section of the forum. Without looking, I believe it's called Owner Projects.

And when you have a troubleshooting question like that, start a new topic about it, and someone more knowledgable on these things will reply :)

When you post everything in your introduction thread a LOT of people are going to miss it because they either don't look at the intros section, or they see they've already replied to your intro, so they won't look again.

Ha, took me awhile to get use to my Cruze when new, for years, jump into an unfamiliar vehicle take a quick glance, then drove off. Not so with the Cruze.

First, got a very bad habit of putting the manual transmission in 6th gear, that crazy 04 Cavalier wrecked me on this because that was where reverse was. Cruze is back to normal on this, but I was not. So into 6th gear it went trying to back up.

Then pushing that button at the end of the directional lever, sure didn't set the cruise control, but reset anything that was on the DIC. GM was setting the cruise control this way since the 60's.

Wife said her passenger seat was very uncomfortable, had to read the manual to learn how to adjust it right, very happy with it now. Was on the floor when we got it and tipped forward. Ha, then reading the manual to learn how to use the DIC and the radio for pairing phones and all that. But now, all this is second nature.

But then when I get back into my "normal" vehicles, have to slap my face a couple of times, but then I miss all those extra informational displays the Cruze has.
