Hi! I'm new here, and have looked around the site, but i'm anxious to find an answer, so I hope someone here can help me! I have a 2013 Cruze, only owned it 2 months, and the other day, when I turned the engine on, the touchscreen didn't come on...turned it off, back on...this time, the touchscreen came on, but couldn't push any buttons on it! Called service department, can't get an appointment until August 20th!! so basically, everytime I turn the engine on, it's a surpise on the touchscreen....sometimes it comes on, sometimes it doesn't...sometimes it will come on and I have about 5 seconds to change the station before it stops working....has anyone here had this problem? I just can't believe that I haven't even made the 2nd payment on it, and i'm already having problems! Went out of town this weekend, and once the radio station faded out, I had to listen to the staticy white noise stuff the rest of my trip!:banghead:

Oh that sucks yea the Mylinks are a little buggy.

Welcome to CruzeTalk. I wish you had come here under better circumstances, however.

Which trim (LS/1LT/ECO/2LT/LTZ) do you have. There is an update for the MyLink for at least the 2013 ECOs. Are there any other Chevy dealerships around you? I call my dealership and they ask if I want to bring the car in today. The longest I've had to wait for an appointment at any dealership for any car has been less than a week.

Send in the survey and make sure you annotate that you are having to wait for a service appointment on a brand new car. Even better, if you get a email based survey fill it out. I gave a poor mark on a survey recently and the service manager was calling me less than 30 minutes after I completed the GM survey. Dealerships get those results immediately.

thank you so much! I appreciate the help, and I will definitely look into either calling the dealership back and talk to the service manager, or trying your other suggestions! I know our local dealership is always SUPER busy, and I certainly don't expect special treatment, I just never dreamed it could take so long to get looked at, lol!

Just wanted to update about my car...took it in today, they had the car all day, and they called me back and said they had to order me a new radio...i'm really nervous that this could be the start of ongoing problems with this car! I asked them if it was normal for a brand new car to need a new radio, and they said it might have been a bad radio....so it will take a few days to get the new radio in, and then I guess we will see how THAT works....sigh.....

I thought you were playing about 20th of this month. Stuff happens, things break I wouldn't worry too much about that. As least you didn't go this long to have them say "We can't re create the issue of it not working properly."
