Hi,

I am Dirk from Salt Lake City Utah. I got my 2017 Cruze Diesel a week ago. I am excited to be a member of this forum. I am originally Dutch. I cant tell anything about my Cruze yet because after I drove it 350 miles my wife sent me off to work and out of the blue told me she took my car to go across the states. I went for a Diesel because I love Diesel cars. The MPG thing is kind of hobby for me. My wife reported that with the car (Automatic) she did 52 mpg running the speedlimit but not higher than 75 mph.

I gave my wife a Silverado Crew Cab for her birthday but when she realized the MPG I guess she realized that she now can do lots more miles. (I have a son living in Tennessee)
I look forward to see how much MPG I can squeeze out of a tank.

Dirk

Welkom to CruzeTalk!

Diesels are fun, start here to learn more about Hypercruzing for fuel efficiency.

Not sure if there are targets set yet for the Gen II diesel, perhaps @obermd can chime in.
I haven't confirmed the numbers for any of the Gen II Cruzen. The EPA changed numbers between 2016 and 2017.
