This is a classic sign of air in the braking system. I would check you work over, then bleed the all the brakes again.
No brake power
Hey guys, today I changed out my front wheel bearings and front calipers. Bleed the brakes and got that all good to go. When the car is off the brake pressure is there and it’s hard to depress the pedal. When I start the engine the pressure is there for a few pumps then it’s completely gone then comes back for a few more pumps and repeat. What exactly is going on? Has my master cylinder gone out?
edit: I should also note that I hear some kinda popping noise when I press the brake. Doesn’t happen everytime but every 7 pumps or so.

So far we’ve put the old calipers on and it brakes better but not like it did before. Bleed everything again and thinking of changing the brake booster and seeing what happens after.

i bought synthetic DOT 3 brake fluid. Im not for sure what was in it before but could that also be another issue?
